Will newspapers disappear in the future? Why/why not?

I think that newspapers will never disapear, there is one good example with theatre, when cinema was invented, people told that nobody will go to the theatre and when TV was invented everyone said that nobody will go to the cinema, but nowadays when we can download everything what we want from the internet, we still going to the theatre, because when you are looking performance you have different feelings  than watching TV. You can see true actors emotions and you are like a part of action of the perfomance. The same situation is with newspapers, now you can read news online, listen on the radio,  watch on TV or watch online on all your devices like computer or  phone. But the feeling of reading newspaper while drinking coffee in the morning, smelling the new newspaper ink and touching the paper will never be replaced.

If yes, Why and what will replace them? When? How? Etc…

But of course newspapers has pluses and minuses. The main minuses is that nowadays life is very quickly and now we accustomed to live online, we have a lot of social networks and news spread very quickly. You can’t compare newspapers and the Internet, because news which is written in the evening, in the morning will be already old. I don’t believe that newspaper will disapear but it’s already not the main way to get news.

How will this affect the lives of the readers? Journalists?

Nowadays readers are already changed, they accustomed to get news at the same time when it happens and I think that this change is very good. We have a lot of bad examples in the history when news didn’t reach the people to warn them on coming disaster. Like the nuclear power explosion in Chernobyl which was about twenty six years ago. Of course at that time a lot of news was ban and the government decided what people should know and what shouldn’t, but if we had these social networks and the internet at all our devices the disaster consequences would be less.

The Journalists life changed too. They don’t have precise work shedule anymore, they have to adapt to the readers what they want and they want to know everything at that time when it happens. It means that if something interesting happens in the world at night you just have to ignore your need of sleep and just write.
